The Basic Court in Ulcinj has found AP (24), NR (28), and BJ (32) from Nikšić guilty for their involvement in a brawl at Velika Plaza that took place in August of the previous year.
They were convicted for the criminal offense of violent behavior, in conjunction with the offense of grievous bodily harm.
AP received a sentence of six months of house arrest.
NR was sentenced to a prison term of one year and ten months, whereas BJ received a sentence of three years.
Following the verdict, the detention of defendants NR and BJ was prolonged due to concerns regarding the possibility of reoffending.
The court stated, “On August 25, 2024, at approximately 03:00 in Ulcinj at ‘Pearl Beach,’ the defendants acted as a group towards the injured parties with audacious and reckless conduct, disturbing public order and peace, and causing minor injuries to Dž.N. from Novi Pazar, and serious injuries to Dž.F.”
The defendants retain the right to appeal the decision.
