The inaugural Cypriot derby in European competitions ended without a winner.

Omonia, featuring Stevan Jovetić and Novica Eraković, played to a 1-1 draw against Pafos, setting the stage for an intense rematch as they vie for a spot in the Conference League’s top 16.

Omonia took the lead in the 51st minute with a penalty successfully converted by Semedo, but Pafos managed to equalize. Eraković initially had a penalty saved by goalkeeper Fabiano in the 74th minute, but Croatian Oršić scored in the 84th minute to secure the draw.

Eraković was substituted late in the game, while Jo-Jo played the full 90 minutes.

In Banja Luka, yet another thrilling European encounter unfolded as Borac triumphed over Olimpija Ljubljana with a scoreline of 1-0.

Former Buducnost forward Đorđe Despotović missed a penalty in the 86th minute; however, the Bosnian champions capitalized on their numerical advantage in stoppage time when Ogrinec netted the winner for the team.

In Denmark, Heidenheim secured a 2-1 victory against Copenhagen, while Betis all but sealed their qualification with a commanding 3-0 win over Gent in Belgium.

New signing Anthony from Manchester United kickstarted the Spaniards’ success, with Bakamba and Altimira also finding the back of the net before the final whistle.
