“I’m really pleased. We were excellent in the second half. We faced a strong team and managed to contain their top players. I’m thrilled with the win. The defense was the deciding factor tonight. When you play smart and with confidence on defense, everything else becomes easier,” Obradović remarked after the match. Partizan triumphed over the home side Olimpija with a score of 90:70 in the 22nd round of the Euroleague. Olimpija’s coach Ettore Messina noted that his team lacked energy during the second half. “We didn’t have enough energy in the second half. They earned this victory. We will review our performance to understand our shortcomings and learn from this experience,” he stated. Partizan achieved their second consecutive win, bringing their record to 11-11, while Olimpija, who saw their three-game winning streak come to an end, stands at 12 wins and 10 losses.
