Adaptation of Two Hospital Wards at Bijelo Polje General Hospital

The official opening of the renovated surgery and infectious diseases departments, with an investment exceeding half a million euros, is scheduled for tomorrow at 10 am at the Bijelo Polje General Hospital.
This inauguration marks a significant step in the ongoing renovations of Bijelo Polje Hospital, which have taken place over the last few years under the leadership of Dr. Kenan Erovic. Numerous renovations have been completed, including the launch of a new Pediatrics Department and a state-of-the-art laboratory.
The primary aim of the management at Bijelo Polje General Hospital is to enhance the quality of healthcare and health services. From 2021 to 2024, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, the institution’s administration has facilitated 16 specializations and 17 narrow specializations.
According to information from “Vijesti,” the funds for updating the surgical and infectious disease departments were allocated by the Ministry of Health and the Health Insurance Fund.
“The completion of the surgical and infectious diseases department renovations is a pivotal achievement in enhancing healthcare quality. By modernizing the facilities and incorporating advanced medical equipment, optimal treatment conditions have been established for all patients,” stated a representative to “Vijesti”.
Furthermore, through local government initiatives, approximately 90,000 euros were secured for the resurfacing of the parking area within and in front of the hospital. The event will also see attendance from the Director of Bijelo Polje General Hospital, Kenan Erović, the Minister of Health of Montenegro, Vojislav Šimun, and the Director of the Health Insurance Fund of Montenegro, Vuk Kadic.
