Tourists from other countries accounted for 32.1 percent of overnight stays.

“When analyzing overnight stays by types of tourist destinations in 2024, coastal locations recorded the most significant share at 93.8%. The capital city followed at 2.6%, with other areas at 1.5%,” MONSTAT reported.

MONSTAT elaborates that their data on tourist arrivals and overnight stays encompass total tourism activity, covering both collective and private accommodations.
