Primorac Succumbs to the Front-Runner
The water polo team of Primorac faced yet another setback in the regional Premier League.
This time, the strong contender Jadran from Split demonstrated their superiority, comfortably winning 15:8 in Budva against the squad led by Vjekoslav Pasković.
It was evident from the first eight minutes that Jadran was in control, leading 4:0. Primorac managed to score their initial goal towards the end of the fifth minute of the second quarter, with Nika Shushiashvili bringing the score to 5:1.
The team from Kotor found themselves trailing by four points on two additional occasions, at 8:4 and 9:5, as the visitors efficiently executed their game plan, handing Primorac their ninth loss in the 14th round of the league.
For Primorac, Shushiashvili and Srdjan Janovic were the standout scorers, while Marko Mrsic, Dusan Matkovic, Petar Cetkovic, and Djordjije Stanojevic each netted a goal.
Zvonimir Butić was the highlight for Jadran, scoring four goals in the match.
