“During the Esbjeg Match, We Need to Perform Like We Did in the Second Half Against ‘Morača'”

The Budućnost handball squad is set to play their final EHF Champions League match of the year at 14:00 p.m. They face Esbjerg, who triumphed 27:23 in their recent encounter at “Morača” last Saturday.
The Danes are clear favorites in this matchup, and the Podgorica team will aim to make a strong impression with their performance.
“Every match is challenging for us, especially given the number of games we play annually. We currently lack a league, making it tough to maintain a consistent level, which was apparent in our last matches. The break for the national team was noticeable; we had no game, leading to a poor start in the first half. However, we regrouped in the second half and played much better,” remarked Maja Savić, assistant to head coach Bojana Popović.
She remains optimistic about Budućnost’s future.
“You can definitely see the progress; the players are developing well. Although the results may not show it at times, comparing the start of the season to now, the progress is evident,” concluded Maja Savić.
After seven rounds, Futura has managed one point (from a home match against Đer), while Esbjerg boasts five victories along with two losses.
