The Future Women’s Water Polo Team Kicks Off Training Officially
The women’s water polo team of PVK Budućnost has officially commenced its activities as announced by the club on Tuesday.
The players participated in their inaugural training session at the SC “Morača” pool, where they were greeted by Aleksandar Aleksić, the coach of the men’s senior team and the coordinator for all water polo divisions within Budućnost.
“Building on the success of our men’s senior team, which is achieving significant results in its first season, along with our younger water polo teams and swimmers who are excelling in competitions, our club has taken another major step by launching a women’s water polo team. I am confident that soon, Podgorica and Montenegro will take pride in our female athletes. There is a strong foundation and considerable interest in women’s water polo, and we are committed to creating optimal training conditions for them.”
The coaching team will consist of Mihajlo Pajović and Danilo Petrušić, operating under the guidance of head water polo coach Aleksandar Aleksić.
The training sessions will initially occur three times a week: Tuesdays (17:00-18:00), Thursdays (17:00-18:00), and Saturdays (09:00-10:00).
“Join us in making history at PVK Budućnost. Let’s collaborate to build a women’s water polo team together,” the club announced.
