Preparation Camp for U16 National Team: 35 Players in Training
The candidates for the U16 water polo team of Montenegro, consisting of players born in 2009 and later, have convened in Kotor for their first mini-preparations of the year.
Guided by the youth national team coordinator Nenad Vukanić and supported by coaches Đorđe Radošević, Aleksa Brkić, and Dušan Ivanovski, 35 players will participate in five training sessions.
Among those preparing are Strahinja Vraneš, Dimitrije Milić, Luka Kovačević, Ljubo Sijerković, Miloš Nikezić, Vukašin Gojković, Vlado Žmukić, Danilo Čurčija (Adriatic), Matija Franeta, Balša Stefan, Luka Popović, Jovan Abramović, Mijat Kastratović, Bajko Bajković, and Petar Nikolić (Budva – Budvanska Riviera).
Also training are Jakša Milanović, Luka Novaković, Sava Stamatović, Andrija Aleksić, Pavle Brnović, Danilo Darmanović, Luka Cerović, Uroš Milić, Vuk Ljiljanić (Budućnost), Mijat Pavicevic, Nikola Mršulja, Balša Crepulja, Filip Vukasović, Luka Nikolić, Momčilo Marković, Lazar Stepanov, Mlađen Kovačević (Primorac), Bogdan Županović, Martin Petrović (Cattaro), and Aleksa Labović (Aquatic Verde).
The Montenegrin U-16 national team aims to compete in the European Championship in Manisa from July 7 to 13.
During the group stage of the tournament, they will face off against Greece, Italy, and Croatia.
