Budrak on Track for MVP, Džaković and Đurović Shine for Their Teams

This past week has been quite eventful for Montenegrin internationals as multiple athletes showcased impressive performances in national championships throughout Europe.
Katarina Budrak shined in the 21st round of the French championship, earning the MVP title of the match. Her team, Bordeaux, triumphed over Le Can with a score of 3:0 (25:19, 28:26, 25:22), while Budrak scored 12 points.
Danijela Džaković continued her remarkable streak in the Azerbaijan Championship, amassing 20 and 17 points within days for her team, Mili Aviasia Akademiasi. Her team secured a victory against UNEC 3:0 (25:22, 25:15, 25:16), although they suffered a loss to Azerail in the subsequent match, ending 3:1 (25:23, 22:25, 25:16, 25:21).
In the Portuguese championship, Saška Đurović also had a stellar outing for Sporting. In the 20th round, her team defeated Casteo Maia 3:0 (25:17, 25:18, 25:12), with Đurović contributing 11 points. Furthermore, she was instrumental in the Cup quarterfinals, helping Sporting beat Porto 10:3 (1:25, 19:25, 21:18, 25:25).
Mina Dragović represented Lugoš in the Cup matches in Romania. Lugoš bested Bucharest 3:0 (25:17, 25:12, 25:14) in the third round, where Dragović netted eight points. Sporting’s players carried on their winning streak in the quarterfinals, overcoming Targoviste 0:25 (17:25, 18:25, 17:2005), with Mina adding four points. However, Lugoš faced elimination in the semifinals at the hands of Voluntari, losing 3:0 (22:25, 15:25, 18:XNUMX) with Dragović scoring two points.
Nevena Vukčević, competing in Slovenia with GEN-I Volley, faced a setback as her team lost to OTP Banka Branika in the Slovenian championship, finishing 3:0 (27:25, 25:21, 25:22). Vukčević marked six points in the match.
In the Croatian championship, Simona Petranović’s team, Mladost, triumphed over Marina Kaštela 3:1 (25:14, 23:25, 25:21, 25:19). Petranović participated in the fourth set but did not score.
Under the guidance of coach Jov Caković, Jedinstvo from Stara Pazova celebrated a significant victory against Tenta, winning 3:0 (25:23, 25:21, 28:26) and causing an upset in the 17th round of the Serbian Super League, though Staša Mitrović did not play in this match. Additionally, Darja Popović and Lara Jovović were absent during their teams’ victories – Omladinac defeated Inđija 3:1, while Srem overcame Jedinstvo from Užice 3:0.
Coach Marija Šušić’s Szent Benedek team competed in the quarterfinals of the Hungarian Extra League but fell to Békéscsaba with a score of 3:1 (25:17, 25:21, 23:25, 25:17), with Šušić contributing four points.
Teodora Rakočević did not take part in Banja Luka’s narrow 3:2 (25:16, 25:17, 21:25, 18:25, 17:15) victory against Igman during the 16th round of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Premier League.
