The initial games of the knockout stage of the Champions League are set to take place on Tuesday, February 11. These matches serve as playoffs for teams that did not secure a spot among the top eight in UEFA’s revamped competition format.
For the opening day, UEFA has assigned referees, with the highlight match: Manchester City vs. Real Madrid, officiated by the French referee Clement Turpan.
Irfan Peljto will be in charge of the game between Brest and Paris Saint-Germain in Guingamp.
German referees will oversee the Juventus-PSV clash, led by Daniel Siebert, while the match in Lisbon between Sporting and Borussia Dortmund will be officiated by Norwegian Espen Eskos.
