The Dog Sits in the Rain, Watching the Yard Where John and VUKAN Will Never Return: Tera’s Eyes Filled with Tears – News Report
Today, countless tears were shed as we remembered the first victims of senseless acts, buried after Aco Martinović’s tragic decision that resulted in the deaths of ten adults and two children, the Vukana Brothers (aged 8) and Jovan (aged 13).
A relentless river of people followed the procession through the broken clouds, accompanying the fallen to their final resting place in what has become the saddest city in the world, a moment forever etched in memory.
A forlorn dog lingered by the fence of the homes where the young boys were killed, remaining there for hours, quietly observing the throngs of passersby. He did not bark; his demeanor was calm, almost sorrowful.
The pet stood vigil at the window of the children’s room, seeming to guard his former playmates with whom he would never romp again, embodying a silent plea for peace in the yard.
His presence served as a tribute to the victims, as if he were “accompanying them to another world.”
VUKAN (8) and Jovan (13) were the youngest casualties of the tragic events that transpired in Cetinje in January, both being students at the “Lovćenski Partizan Squad” Elementary School.
