I expected Đukanović to be held accountable before the competent authorities

Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović stated that rather than receiving “moral guidance” from his predecessor Milo Đukanović, he wants accountability regarding his family’s unexplained wealth from the relevant authorities.

At a press conference held at Villa Gorica, following a meeting with Albanian President Bajram Begaj, Milatović urged the authorities to take a closer look at this matter.

He emphasized the need for the judicial system to “finally fulfill their responsibilities”.

“There are numerous unknowns regarding Đukanović,” he remarked.
