Montenegro’s GDP Grew by 2.6% in the Third Quarter

Montenegro’s gross domestic product (GDP) saw an increase of 2.6 percent in the third quarter of this year, according to preliminary data from Monstat.

The preliminary figures indicate that GDP for the third quarter reached 2.36 billion euros, compared to 2.21 billion euros during the same period last year.

Among neighboring countries, Croatia recorded a growth rate of 3.9 percent, while Serbia experienced a 3.1 percent increase.

The European Commission forecasts that Montenegro’s economic growth will accelerate next year, with newly implemented measures likely to stimulate private consumption and investment. This positive impact is anticipated to persist through 2026, while export growth from 2025 to 2026 is expected to benefit from a steady increase in tourism.
