Average Monthly Electricity Cost in Montenegro: €37.35
The average electricity bill for households in Montenegro for November, when excluding temporary measuring points in non-permanent facilities, amounts to 37.35 euros.
“In Žabljak, households experienced the lowest average consumption at 21.12 euros, while Podgorica recorded the highest average consumption last month, with households spending 45.44 euros on electricity,” stated the Electric Power Industry (EPCG).
The company reported that 58.68 percent of households will receive bills of up to 30 euros; 16.26 percent will see charges between 30 and 50 euros, and approximately 18.58 percent have consumption above that range, while 6.49 percent of customers are facing bills exceeding 100 euros.
“The total number of consumers benefiting from discounts is 179,180, which represents 44.93 percent of households in Montenegro,” the statement added.
In November, households consumed 132.15 million kilowatt-hours (KWh) of electricity, marking an increase of 31.89 percent compared to consumption in October, and an 8.3 percent rise over November of the previous year.
