The working group responsible for proposing amendments to the Law on Free Zones has reviewed the initial draft of these amendments, as announced by the Ministry of Economic Development.
Yesterday, the second meeting of the Working Group took place at the Ministry of Economic Development, chaired by Ana Raičević, the State Secretary of the Ministry.
According to the announcement, representatives from the British Embassy in Podgorica and the British Revenue and Customs Administration are offering expert assistance in formulating proposals for changes to the current legal framework governing free zones.
“In this context, particular attention is focused on the key issues and mechanisms that will help combat illegal trade in free zones, aligning with the best practices in Europe,” the announcement stated.
