Kataro Claims Victory Over Buducnost in Kotor Derby Semifinals of the Montenegro Cup

In a thrilling match in Podgorica, Qatar’s water polo team triumphed over Budućnost with a score of 13:10 (4:2, 3:2, 2:2, 4:4) during the final game of the preliminary round of the Montenegro Cup. Both teams have already secured their spots in the final tournament.
By finishing first in the preliminary round, Qatar will face Primorje in the semi-finals, while Budućnost will go up against Jadran M:tel.
The final tournament is scheduled for November 29 and 30 in Nikšić.
Qatar’s victory was largely due to a strong performance between the middle of the first and second quarters, where they surged to a 4:0 lead, thanks to a 6:2 scoring run. At the start of the final period, the Kotor team established a commanding 11:6 lead with two quick goals, securing their win.
Nebojša Petrović was the standout player for the Kotor side, netting six goals. Marko Milić contributed three goals, while Ljubomir Kovačić scored two, and both Dragan Marković and Dušan Milaš added one each.
On the Budućnost side, Matija Brguljan was notable with four goals, while Neđo Baštrica and Vladan Vukićević each added two. David Stevović and Danilo Savović contributed one goal apiece.
