Ćaćić Earns New Trophy as Peruničić Shines, Ending Usti’s Losing Streak

Recent days have showcased outstanding performances by Montenegrin players abroad, highlighted by Vojin Ćaćić’s impressive achievement in winning the Ukrainian Cup. He was joined by remarkable efforts from Milutin Pavićević, Đorđe Jovović, Nemanja Peruničić, and Vukašin Cimbaljević.
Vojin Ćaćić, representing Montenegrin talent, achieved victory in the Ukrainian Cup with his team Epicentar. The team reached the finals after a straightforward 3:0 win against the U20 Epicentar squad, where Ćaćić contributed 13 points. In the final match, Ćaćić’s team showcased their skills again, defeating Ladižin 3:0, with Ćaćić scoring 14 points.
Meanwhile, in the Turkish league, Marko Bojić recorded double figures despite Tursad’s 3:0 defeat to Fenerbahçe in the 21st round of the Efeler League. The Ankara team has faced three straight losses and currently holds just one win ahead of last-placed Aksu as the championship nears its conclusion.
Milutin Pavićević has settled in well at his new club Karađorđe from Topola, proving that his transfer was beneficial. In the 16th round of the Serbian Super League, Pavićević scored 24 points, leading his team to a 3:1 victory over Niš. His squad ranks fourth with 10 wins and six losses, closely trailing Crvena zvezda, currently facing their fifth championship loss after a recent defeat to Mladi Radnik.
In Croatia, Montenegrin athletes continue to impress with their performances. The Mladost volleyball team remains at the top of the league, having maintained their undefeated status. In the 16th round, they triumphed over Mursa with a score of 3:1, highlighted by Đorđe Jovović’s 23 points. His teammate, young middle blocker Nikola Đurović, also contributed to the match.
Vukašin Cimbaljević also enjoyed a successful match with Ribola Kaštela, where he scored 13 points in their 3:1 win over Varaždin.
In the match between Marsonia and Rijeka, middle blocker Srđan Petrović scored six points, though his team lost 3:2.
A long losing streak came to an end for the Czech club Usti, which features Montenegrin players Blažo Milić and Nemanja Peruničić. Their win in the 22nd round against Ostrava (3:2) was largely thanks to Peruničić’s fantastic performance, where he scored 21 points while Milić participated in two sets.
In Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Premier League, Jovan Delić’s Domaljevac achieved a convincing away victory against Gradiška, winning 3:0 in the 15th round. Delić contributed four points to the effort. Additionally, he and his team celebrated a 3:0 win against Radnik in the semi-finals of the Cup of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with Delić scoring 12 points in that match.
Matija Ćinćur did not take part in Alpacem Kanal’s dominant 3:0 victory over Klacit in the Slovenian league’s third round of the second stage. Milan Rovčanin scored two points for Šoštanja in their big win over Žužemberk.
Bojan Strugar, while not playing in the Romanian Cup matches where his team Craiova won their quarterfinal, witnessed them lose in the semifinals against Corona Brasov.
Montenegrin coach Darko Prebiracevic celebrated his second victory with Qatar Sport, securing a 3:0 win over Al Ahli. Similarly, Coach Balsa Radulovic enjoyed success with Sepahan in the first leg of the Iranian championship semi-final, winning 3:0 against Mes Songan.
