Danijela Džaković, a player from the Montenegrin national team, spearheaded her squad Mili Aviasije to yet another victory in the Azerbaijan Championship. The skilled serve receiver scored 17 points in a dominant 3:0 win against Murov during the 9th round of the Azerbaijan Super League.

Saška Đurović also had an outstanding performance for Sporting, who secured a 19:3 victory over Vitoria Guimaraes in the opening round of the Portuguese championship, marking their fifth consecutive win across all competitions. The middle blocker totaled 16 points, contributing significantly to Sporting’s 16th win, which keeps them ahead of Benfica at the top of the table.

Another middle blocker from Montenegro, Katarina Budrak, made it into double figures over the weekend but could not guide her team to victory. She scored 10 points in an away match with Bordeaux against Mulhouse, which ended with a 3:1 result favoring the home team. Unfortunately, this marked Bordeaux’s 11th loss in 20 rounds of the French Ligue A, challenging their playoff prospects with just six matches remaining.

TED Kolejliler, featuring our setter Nikoleta Perović, is maintaining a positive momentum and is positioned in the playoff zone for a spot in the Turkish Sultanar League. The Ankara team triumphed at home with a 3:0 victory over the underdog Eregli, with Perović participating only in the first half of the opening set. This triumph marked Kolejliler’s 12th win in the 19th round.

In the Slovenian championship, GEN-I Volley has seen some decline in performance during the second half of the season; however, Nevena Vukčević continues to shine. Despite the 3:0 loss to Šempert on the road, the Montenegrin serve receiver managed to score 12 points.

After an impressive December and end of January, where Mina Dragović’s team Lugoš had celebrated six consecutive wins in the Romanian championship, they faced two setbacks. Following a loss to Constanta, they were defeated 3:0 by Alba, with Dragović only able to contribute one point. Lugoš remains with 13 victories, trailing Voluntari and Corona Brasov, who occupy the third and fourth spots respectively.

Marija Šušić’s squad, Sen Benedek, concluded the league phase of the Hungarian championship with a record of all losses. Their final defeat, the 15th, came against MAV Elora with a score of 3:1 away from home, managing to win only one of four sets throughout the season. Our coach had a commendable performance tallying four points, as they now look ahead to the quarter-finals of the playoffs against Békéscsaba.

In the Croatian Super League, Mladost has surpassed city rival Dinamo Zagreb at the top of the standings. With a convincing 3:0 win in the 12th round of the championship, Mladost avenged their only loss of the season to Dinamo. In Mladost’s 11th win, our national team player Simona Petranović did not participate during the match.

Unfortunately for the Montenegrins, there were no opportunities to play in the 16th round of the Serbian Super League either. Jedinstvo from Stara Pazova, under the guidance of our coach Jov Caković, secured a 3-0 away win over their namesake from Užice, while Staša Mitrović observed the victory from the bench, just as Darja Popović and Lara Jovović did for their teams Omladinac and Srem, who fell to favorites Tenta and Crvena zvezda, respectively.

Teodora Rakočević also faced disappointment this weekend, as her team Banja Luka was defeated 3:1 by Goražde in the 15th round of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
