Montenegrin national team member Nikola Vučević has maintained a stellar performance in the NBA throughout the season.
The Baranin continues to shine with each game, and in Chicago’s recent 127:119 defeat against Detroit, he recorded his first triple-double since 2023, marking the sixth of his career.
During his 36 minutes on the court, Vučević tallied 20 points, collected 10 rebounds, and dished out 6.75 assists. He successfully converted most of his shots, missing only two attempts beyond the arc, and also contributed with two blocks and one steal.
Out of his six triple-doubles, two were achieved at home and four on the road.
His previous triple-double before this was on January 19, 2023, against Philadelphia, where he scored 18 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and recorded 6 assists.
He registered his first triple-double in a Bulls uniform in 2021 against Boston, contributing with 18 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists, while the other three were accomplished while playing for Orlando.
During his time with Orlando, Vučević achieved triple-doubles against Golden State, Philadelphia, and Atlanta.
The game against Atlanta marked his inaugural triple-double on December 31, 2017, where he ended the match with 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists.
Despite Vučević’s efforts, the Bulls fell short once again, with White leading the team in scoring with 22 points, while Gidi added 20 points.
On the opposing side, Cunningham excelled with 22 points and 15 assists.
