The Main Board of the Montenegrin Democratic People’s Party has endorsed Maja Vukićević, the head of the Montenegrin delegation to PSSE, to oppose Kosovo’s admission to the Council of Europe.

“The full backing of Vice Presidents Maja Vukićević, Chief of the Montenegrin delegation in PSSE, to vote against Kosovo’s membership in the Council of Europe was expressed during the session. The GO was briefed on the party’s activities commemorating 25 years since NATO’s aggression in the FRY,” reported CDM.

At the end of last week, the head of the Council of Serbia’s Parliamentary Assembly (PSSE) informed Tanjug that the rapporteur had recommended Kosovo’s admission as a member of the organization, with the proposal to be decided by the Political Committee on March 25 under urgent conditions.
