Montenegro’s Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Naida Nisic, announced today that a shift to a seven-hour working day is anticipated by the end of the year.

She mentioned that future social contributions in Montenegro would be more equitable, and emphasized that while the fund will not be discontinued, it will undergo reforms, according to RTCG reports.

Nisic pointed out that analyses indicated significant disparities in various countries, noting that approximately 3,500 pensioners from former Yugoslav republics receive pensions that, when combined, fall below the average.
