Regional Gathering in Celebration of Safer Internet Day
On Safer Internet Day, February 11, the National Cyber Security Authority of Albania (NCSA) collaborated with the Albanian Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs to convene a regional meeting centered on cybersecurity. This notable event was held in Tirana, with Montenegro represented by CIRT.ME.
The meeting gathered delegates from 13 SEECP member states and various international organizations, fostering an environment for sharing experiences while addressing the challenges and opportunities related to bolstering cyber resilience in the region.
Attendees participated in panel discussions that allowed them to present their experiences and strategies for improving protective capacities. Notably, there was a strong focus on enhancing collaboration between nations, involving the private sector in cybersecurity advancements, modernizing educational initiatives, and establishing joint efforts to strengthen resilience against cyber threats.
This event signifies a crucial move towards incorporating SEECP countries into the European and international security framework, underscoring the need for continuous education and a strategic perspective on cyber threats.
