Montenegro records higher traffic in services in the third quarter

Montenegro Sees Increased Service Traffic in the Third Quarter

According to MONSTATA, the turnover index for services in Montenegro has risen by 18.9 percent in the third quarter of this year compared to the second quarter.

In comparison to the same period last year, the traffic index for services in the third quarter has increased by 9.7 percent, as reported by Mine.

“The traffic index in the wholesale sector, including motor vehicles, motorcycles, as well as wholesale services, has seen a growth of 9.8 percent in the third quarter compared to the same period last year, and an increase of 8.9 percent compared to the second quarter,” the statement notes.

The turnover index in the transport and storage sector for the third quarter stands at 9.8 percent, marking a significant rise of 20.3 percent from the previous quarter.

“In the accommodation and food services sector, the index for the third quarter shows an increase of 8.9 percent compared to the same quarter last year, while there is a substantial rise of 77.1 percent when compared to the second quarter,” the statement adds.

This index in the information and communication sector has risen by 9.6 percent in the third quarter compared to the same period last year, with an increase of 12.4 percent relative to the second quarter.
