“Aunt Charged with Killing Toddlers in Cetinje – ‘Waiting for You, Teddy Bear’ Sends Chilling Message”
The heavens weep for the victims of the tragic massacre in Cetinje, where 12 innocent lives were lost, including John and Vukan. They fell prey to Aca Martinovic, who unleashed chaos for a little over half an hour in Cetinje. At the home of the slain boys, even their dogs were unable to mask their sorrow; our reporters witnessed them lying motionless at the gate on the fateful day, gazing down the street as if anticipating the return of their friends.
The grieving aunt of the murdered children expressed her pain on Facebook, lamenting that one pet remained unfound as two were still missing.
“Aunt has lost everything; I’m cold and scared… Here’s aunt, don’t be a teddy bear, you don’t know how to eat, but it’s eating you with sadness. There’s no grief that can feed you and help you, and I can’t think about that. Sleeping angels, I won’t call you. You won’t reach out to me; I only see you as spilled pearls of my aunt,” she wrote, sharing photos of the boys and the dog on her Facebook profile.
To remind, the maniacal rampage by the killer from Cetinje lasted, according to police, from 5:21 PM to 5:57 PM. It began in the Cetinje Café Velestovo, where he shot his first victim. Just five minutes later, at 5:26 PM, reports of the shooting at the café came in. However, the acting director of the Police Administration, Lazar Šćepanović, stated that the initial information was incomplete, prompting the dispatch of two patrols and their superiors to Bajice. Unfortunately, when the police arrived in Bajice, they found that the scene had already claimed four lives and injured three others. According to police data, those killed included Branislav Marković (60), Miloš Martinović (39), and Mirko Vuljić (45), while the wounded were MV (born in 1984), AM (born in 1983), and DK (born in 1985).
The investigation revealed that the four deceased and three injured were acquaintances of Martinovic and had congregated at the café that day. Surveillance footage confirmed Martinovic’s movements as the patrols managed the situation in Humac, where he parked in front of the victims.
The head of the Montenegrin police explained that Aca Martinović’s first victim was Joša Otašević (55), who was at the home of Marko Martinović, the twin brother of the killer. After Otašević, Martinović proceeded to kill in the courtyard and wounded his wife, MM (45). The injured woman was able to shield her child with her body as she escaped from the rampaging killer.
Continuing his deadly spree, he moved to the family home of the Martinović brothers, taking the lives of their parents: Radovan (70) and Radmila Martinović (63). Šćepanović stated that police received the first report of the murders in Velestovo six minutes later. Additionally, a minute later, the loss of nine-year-old Vukan and his five-year-old brother John was confirmed. These two young boys became the innocent victims of the mass murderer, Aca Martinović.
Shortly thereafter, he targeted his second location, No. 7, where he took the life of Zorica Vuletić, 42, in front of her children, including her babies, wife, and bride.
He then approached his second house, and when his wife, Dragana Drasković, answered the door, he killed her.
