Two Arrested at Kula Border Crossing on International Warrants

A German national, referred to as VI (30), and a Kosovo national, identified as MR (38), were apprehended at the Kula border crossing and are subjects of international warrants.
The Police Directorate reported that VI (30) is sought under an Interpol warrant issued in The Hague, following a directive from the Overijssel District Court, for the enforcement of a five-month prison term related to the trafficking, selling, receiving, or manufacturing of narcotics in violation of the Opium Act of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
MR, who has an outstanding arrest warrant from UNMIK Kosovo, was also detained at the same border point.
The Police Directorate further stated, “… in order to serve a prison sentence of one year and four months, based on the ruling of the Basic Court in Gjakova, for the criminal offenses of illegal trade, possession, distribution, and sale of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. The investigating judge of the High Court in Bijelo Polje has mandated extradition detention for both VI and MR.”
