Enhancing Connectivity for Citizens and Businesses via Digital Services
The governments of Montenegro and the United Arab Emirates have formalized their collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding signed in Dubai, aimed at sharing expertise in public administration development and modernization, while also boosting economic cooperation.
This agreement was inked by Milojko Spajić, Prime Minister of Montenegro, and Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, the UAE Minister of Cabinet Affairs.
The Memorandum details the exchange of knowledge and experience in crucial sectors where the UAE has excelled, such as digital service development, improving government efficiency, leveraging artificial intelligence, advancing the digital economy, and fostering creative industries.
This agreement signifies a new phase of more dynamic and comprehensive collaboration between our nations and strengthens our growing partnership. The sharing of knowledge and expertise will be especially beneficial in modernizing the operations of the Government and public administration as a whole, stated Prime Minister Spajić, who is attending the World Governments Summit 2025.
Both Prime Minister Spajić and Minister Al Gergawi concurred that the signing of this Memorandum is a strong testament to their mutual dedication to enhancing bilateral cooperation. They highlighted that it will lay the groundwork for ongoing exchanges of experiences, knowledge, and the execution of joint initiatives.
The document encompasses collaborative efforts to improve governance capabilities, build institutional capacities, cultivate skills for the future, and encourage cooperation across various strategic domains.
