They clinched the European title in 2001 and the world title in 2005, competing fiercely in the water while maintaining a solid friendship…
Nikola Janović, the former captain of Montenegro’s water polo team, extended his best wishes to the new coach of the “Sharks,” Dejan Savić.
“My friend, ex-teammate, and outstanding coach. I trust that as a selector, he will maintain professionalism and dedication while coaching Montenegro, helping to steer water polo back to success. Good luck, Deki,” Janović shared on the X social platform.
The Water Polo and Swimming Federation of Montenegro announced earlier today that the national team will be led by a new head coach who has an impressive track record, having won everything possible with Serbia and made a significant impact as a player in the water.
With 17 medals achieved during his time with Serbia, he now aims to bring Montenegro back into the spotlight of water polo.
