Foreign Work Visa Licenses in Montenegro for 2025.
The Government of Montenegro has approved a proposal for the Decision regarding the annual allocation of licenses for the temporary residence and employment of foreigners, setting the total number of permits for the upcoming year at 28,990.
“The annual quota for the next year has been established at 28,990 permits,” stated the Government in a communication released following a telephone session, as reported by the mine.
Of this total, the Government has allocated 5,000 permits from its annual state administration authority for operational activities. These will be distributed based on the requirements of the labor market, upon request from the Employment Service (ZZZ).
“From the annual quota, 21,620 permits will be designated for the employment of foreigners, while 2,370 permits will be allocated for seasonal employment,” the statement continued.
This decision will come into effect on January 1 of the following year.
