Bojanić, Živković, Perunović, Dogan, and Sumer Receive Life Sentences for the Murder of Jovan Vukotić

Kotor’s Željko Bojanić, along with Nikšić residents Radoje Žuti Živković and Zdravko Perunović, has been sentenced to life in prison in Turkey. The same sentence was given to the direct murderers of Jovan Vukotić, namely Jakub Dogan and Emircan Sumer.
The former dominant figure of the Škalja clan, Jovan Vukotić from Kotor, was murdered in Turkey on September 8, 2022.
Bojanić, Živković, and Perunović are reportedly influential members of the Kavač clan.
The investigation revealed that a GPRS device was placed on Vukotić’s vehicle, tracking his every movement.
Turkish media reported on the verdict concerning the murder, indicating that an indictment has been filed against Radoje Živković, known as Mario, Zdravko Perunović (50), referred to as Pitbull, Milan Vujotić (44), Asija Yüksel (51), Ayşa Sipahi (45), Murat Polat (51), Cemre Murat Calıs (31), Emircan Sumer (25), Elanur Tuna (23), Erdi Ertan (36), Esat Candan (36), Furkan Jesil (29), Emre Karagac (26), Niyazi Serkan Altundasar (51), and Jakup Dogan (22) for the murder of Vukotić.
During the trial, an indictment was issued against Željko Bojanić for his involvement in the homicide that took place in a villa in Sarijer.
Evidence revealed during the proceedings included the discovery of the tortured and murdered Risto Mijanović, whose body was found in villa 167, with photographs presented as evidence in the case.
The court sentenced Furkan Ješil, Elanur Tuna, and Erdi Ertan to 12 years and 6 months each for aiding and abetting murder. Asija Yüksel and Ayşa Sipahi received sentences of one year and four months each. Milan Vujotić was acquitted of murder charges but was convicted of aiding a criminal organization, resulting in a sentence of two years and one month in prison.
His house arrest has been lifted.
Emre Karagač, the driver of Jovan Vukotić who was present during the murder, was acquitted of all charges.
The verdict was delivered by an Istanbul criminal court.
“According to the court decision, Radoje Živković, Željko Bojanić, and Zdravko Perunović were sentenced to life imprisonment with aggravating circumstances. Likewise, Jakub Dogan and Emircan Sumer were also sentenced to life for their roles in the murder,” reports halktv.
