Following his goal against Rijeka, Montenegrin striker Dušan Vuković also found the net against another previous club, scoring the pivotal goal in Lokomotiva’s 3-2 triumph over Hajduk in Zagreb.
The former Sutjeska player also provided an assist to Mudražija, contributing to the winning goal for a 3:2 scoreline.
In contrast to his previous goal in Rijeka (4:1), which was merely a consolation, the 22-year-old Montenegrin forward played a key role in “overcoming” a team featuring Đenar Gatuz, Ivan Rakitic, and Marko Livaja.
Hajduk initially took the lead with a goal from Diallo, assisted by Rakitic, in the 14th minute, but Lokomotiva equalized just 10 minutes later through Robert Mudražija.
Vuković then scored to make it 2:1 in the 25th minute, only for Livaja to level the score in the 53rd minute.
Vuković found the net again in the 58th minute, but the referee ruled out the goal after VAR indicated a foul in the buildup.
The final score was solidified by Mudražija in the 72nd minute, courtesy of an excellent cross from Vuković, who exited the match shortly after, in the 76th minute.
Hajduk is currently in second place, trailing Rijeka by two points, while Lokomotiva has climbed five points clear of the relegation zone, securing seventh place in the standings after 20 rounds of Croatia’s top league.
