Smolović, Omerović, and Rojš Explore Potential Collaborations, Diaspora Connections, and City Twinning Initiatives

The Mayor of Bijelo Polje, Petar Smolović, alongside the President of the Municipal Assembly, Selma Omerović, hosted a visit today from Ralf Rojš, the Deputy Head of Mission of the German Embassy in Podgorica.

According to the Municipality’s announcement, discussions were held regarding the current situation in Bijelo Polje and northern Montenegro, as well as potential avenues for economic and cultural collaboration.

“They also talked about the connections with the large diaspora in Germany, in addition to exploring the possibility of establishing a twinning partnership with some similar cities in Germany,” the statement noted.
