Some parliamentarians from the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) and the Social Democrats (SD) deliberately blocked every member of the parliament from the Europe Now Movement (PES) while they walked through the parliamentary corridor, attempting to provoke a physical confrontation with us, stated PES MP Branka Marković.

She noted that today, certain DPS and SD lawmakers resorted to verbal and physical intimidation, encircling the head of the PES MPs’ Club, Vasilije Čarapić, and obstructing his access to the club’s office.

“During this incident, they hurled the most severe insults and threats at him, trying to elicit anger and provoke a response from our club,” Marković remarked.

“The takeaway here is that at the root of all violence lies powerlessness and cowardice. I would also emphasize the apprehension of an administration in the Bjelopavlić plain, which is already saturated with their officials,” she emphasized.
