DPM Gjeloshaj Engages with ACEBA Representatives
The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy and Minister of Economic Development Nik Gjeloshaj held a meeting with representatives from the American-Central European Business Association (ACEBA).
In attendance were members of the Government of Montenegro, including ACEBA Vice President Douglas deWysocki, representatives from prominent U.S. companies, and H.E. Judy Rising Reinke, the U.S. Ambassador to Montenegro.
Deputy Prime Minister Gjeloshaj warmly greeted the American delegation, underscoring the deep-rooted and enduring connections between Montenegro and the United States. He noted that these robust bilateral relationships form a solid basis for enhancing economic collaboration.
The presence of U.S. companies in Montenegro signifies a pivotal moment and presents an excellent opportunity to fortify our economic bonds. This gathering further cements our partnership and lays the groundwork for tangible developmental and investment collaboration, as per the signed Memorandum, stated Deputy Prime Minister Gjeloshaj.
He also emphasized the critical role of U.S. investments for Montenegro, highlighting their economic significance and the values they embody.
The Government of Montenegro will be a trustworthy and committed partner to all credible U.S. investors, added Gjeloshaj.

These firms epitomize strong American brands across various sectors, such as finance, infrastructure, defense, cybersecurity, energy, border security, and healthcare. We anticipate the partnerships and opportunities that will arise from further enhancing our economic relations, stated U.S. Ambassador Reinke.
Both parties concurred that Montenegro’s NATO membership and the ongoing European integration process send a powerful message of confidence to American and other international investors.
Conversations primarily revolved around fostering cooperation and identifying investment opportunities within the infrastructure, energy, tourism, healthcare, technology, and green energy sectors.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to maintain open communication and intensify collaboration in mutually beneficial areas.
Following the initial remarks, bilateral meetings took place between U.S. company representatives and Montenegrin ministers, including Danilo Šaranović, Minister of Interior; Novica Vuković, Minister of Finance; Marash Dukaj, Minister of Public Administration; Admir Šahmanović, Minister of Mining, Oil, and Gas; Maja Vukićević, Minister of Transport; and Vojislav Šimun, Minister of Health.
