In a thrilling finish in Charlotte, the Denver Nuggets were trailing 104:100 when Nikola Jokić, the best player in the world, turned the tide with five points and an incredible assist, clinching a 107:104 win against the Hornets. Jokić continues to astonish everyone.
Despite Denver initially leading by 12 points, Coach Mike Malone made the decision to rest Jokić. Eventually, he had to bring him back in to secure the victory on the underdog’s home court.
Jokić achieved yet another triple-double.
Veteran LeBron James also made an impact, delivering a triple-double performance with 33 points, 11 rebounds, and 12 assists in the Lakers’ victory over the New York Knicks in his 22nd NBA season.
Meanwhile, the Miami Heat celebrated a victory over the San Antonio Spurs, although they played without Victor Wembanyama.
Miami secured a hard-fought win thanks to Bam Adebayo, who fell just an assist short of a triple-double performance with 30 points and 12 rebounds.
