“He was shaking the bed, woke me up”: Citizens about the earthquake that hit Montenegro – news

“Montenegro Earthquake: Citizens Describe Waking Up to a Shaking Bed”

A seismic event measuring 2.8 on the Richter scale struck Montenegro, as reported by EMSC.

The quake occurred seven kilometers away from Budva, at a depth of 10 kilometers.

The earthquake was detected at 9:18 AM local time.

Residents of Montenegro were able to verify their experience of the tremor on the EMSC website, where they could also assess its intensity.

“It shook the couch I was on, lasting just a few seconds,” one individual shared, while another noted, “it only lasted briefly, but my bed was shaking, which woke me up,” reflecting some of the public’s reactions.

Currently, there are no reports of injuries or damage to property.
