Today, Montenegro’s Minister of Interior, Danilo Šaranović, has suspended more than four police officers, including Novak Mugosa, the son of Judge Suzana Mugosa, due to identified security interference in police operations.

On Thursday, Šaranović previously suspended 19 police officers citing similar security concerns, as reported by the portal Rtcg.

The Ministry of Interior of Montenegro disclosed that a Commission for Security Interference was formed in the department, which identified security issues affecting the operations of 44 police officers, as outlined in Article 162 of the Internal Affairs Act.

Furthermore, the governmental body stated that an investigation into additional officers has been initiated, and this process is currently ongoing.
