Lucija Đurašković, the director of the public institution Museums and Galleries of Budva, has lodged a criminal complaint against Berislav Fabris, the secretary of the Budva Municipal Assembly.
This action by Đurašković follows a series of public accusations made against Fabris on Monday by various officials who were barred from attending the Budva Municipal Assembly session.
In her complaint, Đurašković alleges that Fabris intentionally neglected to send her an invitation to the session, which she claims is her right and responsibility. She asserts that he has also restricted the list of individuals permitted to attend the session to those who are in favor of Nikola Jovanović.
According to her, this is part of a larger scheme to facilitate the takeover of Budva by illegal factions, and she insists that she will not keep quiet about it.
“Throughout my forty-year career, I have tirelessly advocated for culture to triumph over vulgarity, and I refuse to remain silent now that it’s clear convicted criminals from the DPS are making a return to power with the backing of Jovanović’s associates. This will spell disaster for the city’s cultural life, as we have already witnessed in the past,” Đurašković stated.
Ultimately, she expressed her hope that the police and prosecutor’s office would respond promptly, addressing the politicization within this institution and sending a clear message that such actions must never recur.
