In April, Montenegro will host an exciting water polo event featuring six of the world’s elite teams, along with two from the B division, as the country welcomes the Superfinal of the World Cup.
This was announced during today’s press conference by Nikola Milić, the president of the Water Polo and Swimming Association of Montenegro.
“A contract has been finalized with the World Water Sports Federation, ensuring that we will indeed host this prestigious event. The top teams from around the globe will compete in our nation,” emphasized Milić.
The qualification rounds for the Superfinal are scheduled between January 6 and 12 – this will also mark the first challenge for new coach Dejan Savić. However, his team is not facing pressure as the host, ensuring a spot in the top six.
Of particular significance is the fact that during the tournament in Montenegro, three tickets to the upcoming World Championship, set to take place in Singapore from July 11 to August 3, will be up for grabs.
