Norway Champions the European Crown

The Norwegian handball squad made sure there were no unexpected results in the semifinals of the European Championship.

Demonstrating their status as favorites, the Scandinavian women triumphed over Hungary with a score of 30:22, setting the stage for a chance to retain their gold medal.

From the outset, Norway established an 8:4 lead, and later extended it to 13:8, even as Hungary closed the gap to 13:11…

However, the momentum shifted decisively as Norway created a significant gap, pulling ahead 24:16 just ten minutes before the match concluded.

Leading the charge for Norway was Reistad, who netted seven goals, while Klujber was the standout performer for Hungary with five goals.

The second semi-final is set to kick off at 20:30 p.m., featuring a clash between France and Denmark.
