Brighton Declines Substantial Bid for Japanese Player

Saudi Al Nasr has made a bold move towards Premier League players, and after acquiring striker John Duran from Aston Villa, they are now set to target a midfielder.

The club featuring Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed interest in Kaur Mitoma from Brighton, according to reports from the BBC.

The initial offer of 65 million euros was turned down, but English media outlets believe that a revised bid will be submitted to Brighton soon, with estimates of around 100 million euros being discussed—a figure that might be difficult for the Premier League club to refuse.

Mitoma signed an extension with Brighton in 2023, securing his stay until June 2027. He joined Brighton in 2021 from Kawasaki in Japan.

To date, he has made 92 appearances for Brighton, netting 18 goals across all competitions.
