Mass Protests Erupt in Serbia’s Second City as Danube Bridges Are Blocked

Over the weekend, tens of thousands participated in student-led protests, successfully blocking three bridges spanning the River Danube in Novi Sad, Serbia. These demonstrations have persisted following November’s tragic railway station disaster, which ultimately led to the prime minister’s resignation.
