Pop artist Sergej Cetkovic, renowned for his numerous hits and enchanting voice, is spending his summer at Petram Resort & Residences in Istria, where he will host a spectacular musical event on August 15.

As one of the most beloved performers of the Balkans, he promises an unforgettable evening beneath the stars.

– I am eagerly anticipating returning to Petram, one of the most stunning open-air terraces on the Adriatic. We aim to create a relaxed and intimate atmosphere, showcasing some new songs from my upcoming seventh studio album “Kofer” that we will be promoting – Sergej Cetkovic shared with “News.”

While summer is largely booked for performances throughout the region, Ćetković makes it a point to combine work with quality family time.

– Montenegro is our summer base, where we follow the rhythms set by Lola and Mila, explore attractive beaches, and discover new breathtaking locations every year.

Are you set for a concert in the Sava Center this December? How does it feel to return to that stage?

– I am thrilled to celebrate 25 years of my music career with my audience in a venue that holds so many beautiful memories for me. The Sava Center is where I launched my second concert tour and my album “When You Need,” making it like my second home and a space where my music truly belongs. I will strive to offer a memorable evening for everyone.

The singer admits that throughout his lengthy career, there were moments he considered pursuing another career or relocating internationally, but leaving music has never been an option.

– I cannot envision life without music, and I seize every opportunity to express my gratitude to my audience for their long-standing support. If there are aspects I could change, I would simply be more patient and spend time only with those who truly deserve it.

Many artists have unique pre-performance rituals, but Sergej does not follow this trend.

– I don’t have any specific rituals. I sometimes seek a bit of quiet concentration before going on stage, but mostly, I enjoy being around loving people with good energy. I soak up all these vibes on stage, and the audience amplifies those emotions, making each concert unique.

A Timeless Song

Sergej has a rich biography and an impressive repertoire. What’s his “signature song”?

– Thankfully, I can say that. The song “Pogledi u Tami” stands out as my musical identity and the piece that marked a pivotal moment in my career, making it a timeless classic. I still find joy in singing it after all these years and remain positive with every opportunity I get to share my music – Sergej Cetkovic remarked, who is currently promoting a new album released after a full nine years.

– I am delighted that the feedback has been very positive. My audience’s trust continues to inspire me. Of course, I’m always working on new material, so fans can look forward to more beautiful songs and collaborations with my esteemed colleagues in the near future.
