No Injuries Reported, but Substantial Property Damage Occurred

This evening, the residence of Nebojša Bugarin in the village of Cerovo, near Bijelo Polje, caught fire, with the incident reported at 18:46, according to information received by Vijesti from the Protection and Rescue Service.
Fortunately, there were no injuries reported from the blaze, although the material damage is significant.
Edin Kolić, the Head of the Protection and Rescue Service, stated that a team was dispatched to Cerovo immediately following the call, equipped with one special vehicle, one technical vehicle, and six firefighters and rescuers.
“Upon arrival, the fire was already in an advanced stage, consuming an older wooden structure (a shed). We acted quickly to control the flames and prevent further spread to nearby properties. The firefighting efforts continued until 22:30, involving three special vehicles and a total of ten firefighters,” Kolić said, adding that the cause of the blaze remains undetermined.
