Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated today that the state is not a toy, highlighting that many have mistakenly believed it is acceptable to toy with the state and manipulate it for coercive purposes.
“This is why there has been an external assault on Serbia, supported by numerous internal factions that have long sought to gain power—some through elections and others without any electoral legitimacy—but their efforts have failed because the people reject them,” Vučić conveyed to the audience in Brus.
He asserted that “the state of Serbia acts with tolerance and patience, continually extending offers for dialogue to all” and reaffirmed that it is open to discussions even today.
“The moment anyone imagines they can usurp power through force, the state will act decisively, just as any sovereign state would around the globe,” Vučić declared.
He urged citizens to remain calm, insisting that “the state of Serbia is not something to be casually consumed,” and expressed confidence in preserving peace and stability, assuring that Serbia would advance and flourish.
