Pavićević Takes Charge as Leader of Karađorđa, Ćaćić, and Epicenter in Championship Mode

Montenegrin setter Milutin Pavićević had a remarkable performance in his new club, Karađorđe. After an impressive debut in the CEV Challenge Cup, he spearheaded his team to a significant victory over Crvena zvezda, achieving a clean sweep of 3:0 (25:21, 25:22, 25:17) and accumulating 13 points. The red and white squad, managed by our coach Ivica Jevtić, faced their second loss of the season.
Montenegro’s volleyball players competing in Croatia have wrapped up the first segment of the season. The Mladost team, featuring Đorđe Jovović and Nikola Đurović, sits atop the Superliga standings with a perfect record of nine wins. Following closely is Vukašin Cimbaljević of Ribola Kaštela, boasting seven wins and one loss. Cimbaljević shone in the last round of the season’s first segment, scoring 24 points in their 3:1 victory against Centrometal. Meanwhile, Marsonia Srđan Petrović is positioned fifth with five wins and four losses.
The former captain of the senior national team, Vojin Ćaćić, along with his Epicenter squad, has returned to competitive play. Within three days, they played three matches in the Ukrainian Super League and secured three victories, maintaining an unblemished record. Epicenter overcame Novator, MHP Vinitsa, and DSO Ternopil in succession, not dropping a single set. Ćaćić missed the first match but contributed 11 points in the following two.
In the 14th round of the Slovenian championship, Matija Ćinćur’s Alpacem Kanal cruised to a 3:0 victory over Panvita Pomgrad (25:20, 25:23, 25:19). Matija contributed four points, helping his team secure second place in the standings with a record of 12 wins and two losses.
In the second league, Milan Rovčanin’s Šoštanj achieved an away victory against the Črnuča team without losing a set (28:26, 25:20, 25:18), with Rovčanin scoring in double digits with 13 points.
Jovan Delić’s Domaljevac remains the top team in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In their latest match, Domaljevac triumphed over Kalesija with a score of 3:0 (25:15, 25:17, 25:17). Delić participated in the second set and tallied two points.
During the 14th round of the Romanian championship, Craiova claimed a 3:1 away victory against Unirei (25:20, 23:25, 25:13, 25:19). Montenegrin player Bojan Strugar saw action in the second set, finishing without points.
In the Czech Republic, Usti Blaž Milća is still searching for their first win after yet another loss to Liberec at 3:0 (25:18, 25:21, 25:13), with Blazo contributing three points.
Marko Joksimović, the technician for the senior national team, has joined a new club. He will be reinforcing Qatar’s Al Sadd, which is currently without a victory this season. In their last two outings, Al Sad faced defeats against Al Vakrah (3:0, scores were 25:18, 25:19, 25:18) where Joksimović scored three points, and against the Police team with set scores of 25:15, 25:13, 25:12, where he ended up without points.
In their final match of the year, Iranian club Sepahan, under the guidance of coach Balša Radulović, achieved a decisive victory against the Karima team.
