The Cetinje Lovcen kick-boxing team emerged as the most successful participants of the CMF 3 Capital Trophy, claiming six gold medals.
All matches concluded without defeat, highlighted by Nikola Prlja’s impressive return to the ring with a victory after a year away. Other notable winners from Lovcen included Stefan Drašković, Pavel Petrović, Dragan Muratović, Jovan Lipovina, and Miloš Vojinović. The tournament featured 16 matches across five categories within the low-kick discipline, with athletes from Montenegro, Serbia, Kosovo, and Bosnia and Herzegovina participating.
The Prijestonica trophy was also distinguished by another stellar performance from Viktor Dukić, the world junior champion from KBK Rad, who achieved a unanimous victory over Kodž Minja, one of Europe’s top fighters, in the heavyweight division.
“Viktor Dukić secured six gold medals at the largest international competitions this year, and this latest victory crowns the most successful year in the history of junior sports in Montenegro. No athlete has ever achieved six gold medals in a single year in the history of Montenegrin sports at the most significant international contests,” remarked KBK coach Rad Veselin Piletić.
