Young footballer Pablo Paes Gavira, commonly known as Gavi, has signed a contract extension with Barcelona lasting until June 2030.

Gavi is a product of Barcelona’s youth system, having spent the last decade at the club.

“I am extremely pleased to have renewed my contract with the club that means everything to me, and I look forward to bringing joy to our fans this season,” the midfielder shared on social media.

At just 20 years old, Gavi made his first-team debut for the Blaugrana in August 2021.

To date, he has played 27 matches for the Spanish national team.
