The remains of Ivone Savicevic were discovered earlier today in the Šteka area near Podgorica, as reported by several Montenegrin and regional news outlets citing the Police Directorate.

Initial reports from Montenegro suggest that the police are treating it as a suicide, but definitive conclusions will depend on the results of further analyses and expert evaluations.

Ivona Savicevic, a single mother, was reported missing to the police by her family three days prior. She was last seen driving not far from the location where her body was found.

Following the discovery of Ivona’s body, her friends and acquaintances began expressing their condolences on social media, sharing shock and sorrow.

“You were a wonderful woman, mother, and a great friend. You faced many challenges in life,” reads one of the most popular tributes, which continues:

“Whenever you felt down, you always concealed it well, wearing a smile. Now you’re in a better place, free from sorrow.”
