Before the New Year, the municipal organization of the Nikšić Red Cross arranged New Year’s gifts for children in Golija, specifically from “Branko Višnjić” Elementary School in Krsce and the branch school in the village of Javljen. These gifts were delivered by their volunteer and renowned humanitarian, Radovan Petranic.

During this process, he discovered that there was a boy living in challenging conditions. The well-known Nikšić trio, comprising Petranić, Milodarka Zoric, and Ljiljana Femic, promptly decided to help. With the support of their families, friends, and the “Jolly” bookstore, they managed to provide the boy with various gifts, including clothes, shoes, and school supplies. They also had the chance to meet students from Krsce and Javljen, who moved them with their excellent behavior, humility, and kindness.

According to their words, the children from Golija won their hearts with their smiles, inspiring them to bring more joy at the start of the second semester. They did just that, visiting the children two days ago with sweets, clothes, and even two cakes—one for two students in the village of Javljen and another for 14 children in Krsce. The trio received smiles and gratitude in return, filling their hearts with joy. They chose not to discuss their good deeds, recalling the adage that “do good quietly, and it will be spoken of loudly.”
